Summer is coming, and we are getting ready for our 2025 Summer Concert Series! Stay tuned for dates and venues! (We're looking at a show coming up at The Pavilion at Jackson in Winder for their Friday Nights Live Series!) The bands are sounding good, and the solo acts are putting together some great music as well!

Come on in and get a song or two ready for one of the upcoming shows! Even if performing at shows is not your goal, I can show you how to play the songs you want to play and how to listen and pick up songs on your own! Each student has individualized lessons for their specific level, musical interests, technique, and theory comprehension! Gone are the days of sticking anyone in a book! Music should be fun and rewarding! You should be able to have fun while learning in a pressure free studio!

 

Now, I am working with a couple of talented rhythm sections, made up of multiple percussionists and bass players. If you learn a song, no matter the style, there will be a rhythm section that can learn it as well! You would be able to rehearse and play live with the most appropriate rhythm section for your chosen song! They are becoming live veterans! Even if you do not wish to perform, we will be learning and having fun, at your pace, so you can get the most out of your instrument and improve with correct technique! So much more than learning "riffs", looking up "how to" videos on YouTube, or staring at lines and numbers in online "tabs",  you will be learning rhythm and lead techniques, learning to play songs by listening, the theory, or "why it works", and even be able to improvise! For anyone already at that point, we dive deeper! 

 

Let me help remove the mystery of the instrument so you can learn, play your favorite songs freely, and enjoy practice times that are productive! When you feel ready, take the stage at one of the shows, if you wish!​

Come on in and learn solo guitar techniques, rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass, country, rockabilly, metal, fingerstyle, collaborating with other musicians, writing, and performance. Learn the songs you want to play!

 

Whether you just picked up a guitar or have been playing for years and want to become more proficient, let's get started!

 

Of course, now's a great time to come in, but I am also available for virtual lessons via Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype!
