I teach at Jackson's Music Store in Buford. Lessons are $25 per half hour. I offer guitar and bass guitar lessons in all styles, from rock, metal, blues, and folk, to fingerstyle, r&b, funk, country, jazz, bluegrass, and pop. I teach beginners up to pro performance level, and many of my students are performing regularly! I am also versed in  teaching everything from classic hymns to video game theme songs! Long gone are the days of Mel Bay's book 1! I like to teach you what you like to play, and give you the necessary tools to pick up songs and melodies on your own! I also assist the students that are writing music to form complete songs and convey solid ideas. One of my recent students wrote a few songs and was able to go record them in Nashville! I teach reading, as well, for those students that are improving their game with the orchestra or jazz band at school! I also help assemble and coach bands. You will see these bands from time to time at the student performances! Most of all, we have fun at what we are learning! Having the option to perform live for friends and family is a fun way to show your developing talent!
